﴿ وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا ﴾
“And say: My Lord, increase me in knowledge.” — Ta-Ha 114
Ali Abdulaziz Alseddiqi, may Allah have mercy on him, was born to a Kuwaiti family and grew up and studied in the United Kingdom, giving him a natural command of both Arabic and English. He excelled in his studies and travelled to pursue medicine, while at the same time deepening his knowledge of the Islamic sciences.
Together with his brother Mohammad, may Allah preserve him, Ali founded a WhatsApp group named “Muslim Ummah”, dedicated especially to new Muslims and to anyone wishing to learn about Islam. He also built a digital library gathering the books he found most beneficial for new Muslims, alongside his own notes and writings — which you will find today in this site's library.
Ali dreamed of building a smart search engine that would draw its answers only from trusted sources, having seen how AI tools often fail to extract the correct answer. But his appointed time came first; he passed away, may Allah have mercy on him, at the age of 21, before the project was complete — and today, we are continuing the journey he began.
We kindly ask every reader who benefits from these pages to remember Ali in their prayers, and to ask Allah to forgive him and raise his rank.
“When the son of Adam dies, his deeds end except three: ongoing charity, knowledge that benefits, or a righteous child who prays for him.”
