The Story of This Network

Roots

A Kuwaiti raised between two tongues

Born to a Kuwaiti family, he grew up and studied in the UK, mastering both Arabic and English.

Excellence, medicine, and sacred knowledge

He excelled and travelled to study medicine, while deepening his knowledge of the Islamic sciences.

The “Muslim Ummah” group

Da'wah for new Muslims

With his brother Mohammad he founded a WhatsApp group for new Muslims and anyone wishing to learn about Islam.

The digital library

Gathering beneficial knowledge

He built a digital library of books beneficial to new Muslims, alongside his own notes and writings.

The dream

A trusted smart search

He dreamed of a smart search answering only from trusted sources, having seen the shortcomings of existing tools.

Farewell

Passing at twenty-one

Allah took him before the project was complete, at the age of twenty-one, may Allah have mercy on him.

Continuing the journey

An ongoing charity

Today we continue what Ali began — this network is a sadaqah jariyah for him; may Allah accept it and raise his rank.

“When the son of Adam dies, his deeds end except three: ongoing charity, knowledge that benefits, or a righteous child who prays for him.”
